operatedatleadingpowerfactor,they

areusedtocorrectafacility’slagging

powerfactorcreatedbyalltheother

inductionmotorsbeingoperated.

Thiscorrectionreducesthepenaltya

customerpaystheutilitycompanyfor

creatingpoorpowerfactor.
